Description

Summary

Since I couldn't find a clip, holder or stand for my Unihertz Atom I decided to make one myself.

I made 3 versions:

  • I made a general version with a clip for attaching to pants, belts or backpacks.

The other version is for the Quadlock system.

  • I also made a desk/night stand with a slightly less tensioned holder for easy acces.
It has a little hole in the back to slide the USB cable trough and attach it to the side of the Atom

These models can be printed in both in PLA or PETG.

Print in PETG for more waterproofness and temperature resistance.
The desk stand is printed in PLA (I love the army green)

How I Designed This

From zero to something

I started trying 3D design in Shapr3D after 3 weeks of owning a 3D printer and it gave me a lot of fun of finally being able to transfer my own digital concepts into actual tactile objects, still very basic but you have to start somewhere i guess.

This is the first more complex design for a specific object I made.
I'm very happy with the results but the further I get into my designing skills the more I wil apply my learnings on these designs.
