MAGNETIC STACK-ABLE TRAYS
Presenting a combination of trays and lids to help organize your Bambu Lab spare parts with
plenty of storage space for not just your parts and tools but now has deeper
bucket style trays to store bigger items.
The bottom tray is equipped to hold four complete hot ends minus the cooling fan. There's also space for the extra parts that come with the hot ends. The 3 compartment tray and the single compartment tray have magnet pockets on top and bottom for 6x3mm neodymium magnets to hold your trays together and provide a way for the top cover to attach to the tray.
There are multiple plates for single color and two colors for the Bambu Lab logo. This should be easier to sort through and cut down on print times if you don't need the logo highlighted.
I installed all of the magnets with the Mag-Pen and I found the easiest way to do it is install all your magnets in one direction then flip the trays and use the rear cap of the mag-pen to install the other set of magnets to be sure they will attract each other and keep your trays and lids together.
Top cover magnet install, use same method for bottom of the compartment trays:
Top side of trays install magnets from the rear cap of the Mag-Pen:
Cover is held in place by the attracting force of the two magnets, you can also position the cover to only expose the pocket for quick access without spilling everything in the tray:
If you want one storage tray for spare hot ends you can just print the bottom tray and the lid and you're done. If you want to stack 20 of these trays you can do that too! The trays do hold together quite well but since they're magnetic you will reach a point where the combined weight of multiple trays is stronger than the magnetic force so please be sure to carry your stack of trays by the bottom to prevent any dropped parts or components.
ENJOY!
