Description

I'm sure that is not the first out, or it's about time.

Now, this is cheating. You should be able to reload with your finger faster than with that tool. Got that paper puncher? Me? I don't need more pain. And I have better to do with my finger… Like printing something cool.

The objective is not to make another speed loader but to improve the ergonomics.

But seriously, I did get some new mag, and to fill it up top was not fun. That brings the fun back to the plinking; there is no pain.

As usual, I print it in ABS. PETg could do better, and PLA is for the guy waiting for the flash or holding the target.

If you have a 1911 9mm, let me know if it works. It should, but I can't test it…

It also should work with an impressive number of gun models and ammo. No big guy with your .50 or 410. Don't even try ;-) What .22? Really? Do you need a speed loader?

Enjoy

Good question. Yes, it will print, and it should work (it's pretty heavy), but would it last? I don't think so. PLA, even PLA+ and its variants (PLA-CF), have very poor mechanical strengths and are very brittle. I'm not recommending PLA for anything that needs to sustain strength or impact. PETg, ABS, ASA, PC, and any engineering materials would work and last. To me, PLA is only for printing figurines and pictures.

print came out great, worked well for my 45 but my 9mm the inside piece was too wide to be able to push down.

You have a 1911 9mm single stack and use the speed loader 45... Can you take a picture with the clip in? I think it should be just 1 to 1.5mm too large. If so, I can modify it for you. What gun is it?
