Description

“Stained Glass" inspired honeycomb and bee

It measures 9"x9" and will require an AMS.

I used a mixture of Transparent and normal PLA.

I have also added the original and Concentric version of each print as you can see in the photos. The concentric version has a added loop so you can add a suction cup to hang to a window.

For this look the filaments i used were

Sunlu Black PLA for the outlining and the bee

Sunlu Pure Yellow for the darker yellow

Sunlu Clear transparent for the wings

Jayo transparent PLA+ Yellow

The stained glass part is only 4 layers so you could use normal PLA for the whole piece and still have light come through.

This is printed at 90%. It kept getting messed up at 100% on my X1 Carbon. It turned out great! Thanks for the great design! I wished this one had the loop for hanging. The other file that had the loop only had 3 colors and not the 4 that this one has.

I've reloaded it and now it shows the 4 colors now. im sorry, im not sure why it didn't display properly the first time.

I love this print. I only used 3 colours because I wanted to paint some of the cells. I only used White, Black & Transparent purple PLA filament The yellow and gold were painted using Posca Paint pens. All in all it printed really well, but be careful of the purge lines the printer puts down first, they got stuck on mine and you can see right near the top right corner where it didn't come off. This print fills the entire plate.
