With the black friday deals I ended up with a whole lot more Bambu filaments and spools than I'd had previously. And I also coincidentally discovered that Overture PLA/PETG cardboard spools can also easily have their sides ripped off and put onto a Bambu reusable spool with the use of a simple center hub side adapter. I was already doing this for my Elegoo PLA since those are an exact fit (no adapter needed!). Both of these are slightly too large for the AMS when you add the plastic rim adapters so I wanted to get away from that. But that meant I now have both black and white PLA and PETG on Bambu reusable spools and I was about to forget which was which!
Enter this simple solution. These tags simply press into the holes in the sides of the reusable spools (the current/newer ones, not the earlier ones that had much smaller holes). They don't interefere with use in the AMS and they're removable again if you need to swap in a different type of filament.
You can also color them if you like either by filament type or even by exact filament color if that's your style.
There's only 4 color changes per print so the waste isn't terrible in absolute terms but it's ~75% more filament as waste if you print a single one. So, you'll probably want to print a bunch at once for future use but it won't break the bank if you print just one.
There are several plates to choose from:
If you're printing from Bambu Handy there's an option to print many copies simultaneously so, if you have a specific one you need, you can easily print as many as you need. And you can change the colors as you print to be whatever you like. White is the plate color and black is the text in the print profile as uploaded.
These are reusable but you will have to remove them very carefully to avoid breaking the tiny pegs since they're tiny and in the worst print orientation for strength. You may want to print a little hotter than normal to improve layer adhesion and avoid filaments known to be poor in that regard (like Silk PLA). But they don't use much filament so just print a few spares :).
If you need other labels, just drop me a comment and I'll add them. These were just the starter set to match what I currently own.

Updated 12/2/23 - Added 5 new tags (Strong, Metal, Tough, ASA, PLA+). Deleted 3x print plate because you can just tell the Handy app to print 3x.

Updated 1/13/24 - Added a blank tag that you can use Bambu Studio to add your text to. You'll need to open the project locally for this (no printing direct from the Handy app!). The steps are:
1. In the prepare tab, view the ‘Blank’ Plate.
2. Select the blank tag and view it from directly below the plate:
3. Select the ‘Objects’ tab in the left pane so you can see the text_shape object:
3. Select the text_shape object as above and use the text tool ('Ta' button) to adjust the text, font and size to preference. Make sure to set the Angle to 0 as Bambu Studio likes to keep changing it randomly (as seen in this screenshot):
4. As you do this you'll need to readjust the text to be centered. This requires you to select and drag the text_shape object.
5. And then you're done. Bambu Studio doesn't render how it will slice correctly and will show it appearing to stick out of the surface still. But in the slicer view you can see this gave us just two layers of text:
5. Fill bed with copies or use the clone option to print more. Make sure to select the entire thing, not just the body part to get those options:
