He has acquired different names such as Lobezno in Spain and Glotón, Guepardo, Aguja Dinámica or Emilio Garra in Latin America, where they also use the original alias.456
His first appearance was within the pages of issue 180 of The Incredible Hulk comic book, in October 1974, although his formal presentation was in the following issue due to the scriptwriter's oversight (issue 181, November 1974). In addition, he made frequent guest appearances in other Marvel comics. In the 1980s and 1990s, comics featuring the Wolverine character went on to become the publisher's best sellers.
He has appeared in most of the X-Men media adaptations, including animated television series, video games, and the 20th Century Fox film series in which he is played by Hugh Jackman in nine of the ten films.
