The NGP (New Armored Platform) is a development program from the 1990s. The aim was to develop a family of vehicles to replace systems such as the Leopard 2, Marder and Gepard. Only the Puma infantry fighting vehicle was realized. All other variants were canceled due to changes in strategy and for cost reasons.
