Turn filament purges into part of this fun sculpture. Meet Finlo, a mighty fire ant, who would love to collect your purges to insulate their nest mound. Fun to look at. Also a conversation piece with people not familiar with 3D printing.

When filament purges are used as art making materials, they are no longer a waste, the same as paints, papers, woods, etc, that are used in art projects.

This is not a model that uses only a symbolic amount of purges. Along with my other two models, Bad Hair Day and Hairy Caterpillar, the question is not if one produces too much filament waste, but that if one produces enough to make the sculptures :)

The model holds enough purges to be a viable storage while waiting for the chance to use them later, such as considering using them like packing peanuts. Print one for the desk, another for the window, or a whole ant army carrying all the wastes going around the walls :)

Easily printed with PLA without support. Can be printed with small printers such as Bambu Lab A1 mini. All parts are single color prints.

The model is about 7 inches (178 mm) tall and 6.8 inches (173 mm) wide.
