Description

What is a Rainmaker you might ask? Well Rainmakers are traditional musical instruments that originate from South America. It is believed that these long, hollow tubes (also known as rain sticks) were invented by the Aztecs and played to induce rainstorms during dry months. As the instrument is upended, its contents (usually pebbles or dry rice/beans) flow from one end to the other, simulating the sound of rain. I designed this one to resemble a bamboo stalk in honor of Bambu Studios and use filament waste. Silk poop seems to work the best, however you can also put desiccant beads in it for maximum effect. This is 420mm long when assembled. I will also add a separate print profile for adding additional 210mm sections so you can make it as long as you want. The longer the tube, the longer the sound will last when turned over!

What a cool idea! I like how you are thoughtfully saving filament on minimal color changes. Will pront kiddo and I will enjoy.
