The 2pcs screws are used as the rear hinges of the box and the other 4pcs screws are used to mount the closing clips.

2pcs - Pneufit Connector PC4-M10

I really like this dry box. I'd have liked to be able to see how much is left without opening it so I have added a print profile with for a lid with a glass window. https://makerworld.com/en/models/408787#profileId-351735 based on my how to add windows to prints demo https://makerworld.com/en/models/444660#profileId-350937

I'm glad you like boxing. Putting glass in the lid of the box is a good idea. I like it.

that you for the design. what can be the reason for the marks on the lid?

I don't know. Printer settings. I'm sure it's not the model. This box has been printed by several other people, including me, and I don't know of any problems. It looks to me like the print was taken off hot and some of the print was left on the printing plate. Do you use 3DLac on the print pad before printing?

yes I do use 3Dlac before printing. I will try another print

Do you have a version of this without the logos? I've already printed the bin and it has certainly helped me organize my printer space. I'd like to print the lids and clips as well, but I'd rather them not have the logos. If I simply set the printer to use the same material, I get printing artifacts as shown in the attached picture.

The clip without logo and the lid without logo can be downloaded in printable files under the names "Clip_without_logo" and "Lid_box_without_logo". Just select the download STL and download the required files

Could you please make the box without holes or sealed? Id love to keep TPU rolls in it for LOOOOOONG time storage. Thanks for sharing and nice design!

Hello. I have added a print profile for the lid without holes. If the box will only be used to store TPU, just print this box as well: https://makerworld.com/en/models/373021#profileId-305096. Use the gasket from here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/408787#profileId-310681. The bottom of the box is identical, only the lid of this box is lower. Even the box with the lower lid can fit two 1kg coils. There is just no option to add silica gel. You would have to insert an external box or bag with silica gel. Glad you like the design.

I may add this manually, but I really like the idea of the window mods. If this is setting on a desktop i think it would be prudent to be able to see directly into the front of the box to be able to see how much plastic is on the spool. I was thinking about setting these on my desk and running it from there, But I want to be able to see into the box. Great design never the less. I like it better than trying rig up cereal boxes.

Added a print profile from JPP that added the ability to implement a glass window in the lid. When printing the bottom of the box one could create a groove to insert the glass into . One would need to break the print at a certain height, insert the glass into the groove and continue printing. I'm just not sure how tight the box would then be. Since I've never done this, I don't want to get into these modifications. Anyway, the filament check window seems like a good idea to me.

if I were to add a window on the front I would cut a hole or draw one in CAD and then glue a piece of glass over it.

can you make it work with the 160mm rod instead of 164? can’t find exact length rod and didn’t want to have to cut it down every time.

Yes, the 160mm rod can be used. It's enough length to hold the rod in the bearings.

There is no mentioning or reference as to the sizing for the rods for the clips. It might have been nice to include a printed clip-lip on the box. Also, no mention of what to buy or do with the holes which will feed the filament. Not sure of the sourcing but they appear to be push fit tubing connectors. This is a really nice sturdy box that printed fantastically and looks incredible, otherwise.

Hello. I used this Pneufit connector: Connector Pneufit PC4-M10 Thread G1/8 Suitable for 2/4 mm diameter bovden Used in ender printers M3 screw with a length of 30 mm is used for the closing clips. The description indicates 6 pcs. Two are used as axle for back hinges and the remaining 4pcs are used for box closing clips. Glad you like the dry box. I will add this information to the description. Thank you for the notice.
