Some owners of the IONIQ5 experience some rattling and/or squeaking from the trunk area. There is a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB #23-BD-006H-1) for this, so if you are still covered under warranty, i recommend to let your dealer fix it. The original TSB uses some washers to be placed under the guide shims. Some owners fixed this by using standard hardware M8 washers about 1mm thick. Please note, that this isnt a garantied fix for the issue. For some this worked, other it only reduced the amount of rattle. Also the TSB includes another procedure using a pry bar and a hammer, which i absolutely advise against. Leave that to the professionals.

The TSB might not be available in some regions, or you might be to lazy to drive to your dealer (like me). I designed two different sized shims, as i dont feel comfortable with steel washers. One shim goes under the trunk guide on the hatch, the other under the trunk guide on the body of the car. Each shim is required twice. IMPORTANT: Use heat resistant material like ASA, as PLA will get to soft. Also the Bolts require some specific tension and need some screw lock.
