Description

Have you ever faced this dilemma? You have your daily routine tasks (feeding the pets, brushing your teeth, giving your newborn their vitamins, watering the plants, calling your mum), but you struggle to recall if you've already completed them for the day. This is especially challenging for shared tasks when you forget to communicate with the other person.

Introducing the "Daily Task Tracker"

Imagine it's Monday (and the display indicates Monday). Your task for the day is to share a bad joke with your colleagues. Once you've done it (congrats!), simply press the button, and the display switches to Tuesday. Now, you know your next obligation is on Tuesday. It's as simple as that. See the end of this page for more examples.

This gadget is the easiest yet most versatile solution I came up with. It is easy to print, even easier to assemble and super easy to use (one button push).

Let me know in the comments what your specific application for this tracker is.

All parts except the spring (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4591444) were designed by me. I printed everything in Bambu Basic PLA, however it might be better to print the spring in PETG for durability. If you face issues with friction, just add a drop of lubricating oil on the inner side of the rotator. In my case it was not needed. Also, remember to always push the button all the way down and also let it come back all the way. I hope you find it as useful as I do.

I included model for English (Mon-Sun) and German (Mo-So) weekday abbreviations. If there is a special request I might also add more languages.

Please watch the video for the assembly instructions. Remember to remove all the supports (including the ones inside the spring, see photo) before the start.

Here are some more things you can track with this gadget:

Skincare Routine: Keep track of daily skincare routines such as cleansing, moisturizing, and applying sunscreen. Press the button after completing each step, and the device progresses to the next day, ensuring consistent skincare habits.

Medication Reminder: Keep track of daily medication doses for yourself or a family member. Press the button after taking the medication, and the display advances to the next day, ensuring you never miss a dose.

Exercise Goal: Monitor daily exercise routines such as a morning jog, yoga session, or gym workout. Press the button upon completion, and the device reminds you of your next exercise day.

Water Intake: Track daily water consumption goals by pressing the button after finishing each glass or bottle. The display progresses to the next day, helping you stay hydrated consistently.

Reading Challenge: Keep up with a daily reading habit by pressing the button after completing a reading session. The device then indicates the next day, encouraging regular reading habits.

Household Chores: Manage recurring household tasks like laundry, cleaning, or organizing. Press the button after completing each task, and the device updates to remind you of the next chore.
