THE PROBLEM
Most cases available for the Bambu Lab filament are not compact and requires a lot of filament to print. As my filament swatch collection grew, I needed a way to organize my swatches that allows for easy expansion and transferring swatches as I add new swatches to the collection.
THE SOLUTION
I designed a swatch case with the following requirements/features in mind:
Must be compact, i.e., must be able to take on a lot of swatch tiles but with a small footprint
Must be expandable to easily allow more cases to be added. Bonus points if cases are made to be stackable.
Filament swatches/tiles must be easily accessible to allow for faster transferring/moving the swatches to and from the case.
OPTIONAL: Should have a lid and allow for labeling the cases.

HOW TO PRINT
Open the provided print profile in Bambu Studio or print directly from Bambu Handy app.
Print one or more copies of the case.
To edit the labels, in Bambu Studio, select the plate containing the labels. Select the label you want to edit. Next, in the print process settings (left pane), switch from Global to Objects. Right click on the text_shape item and select Edit Text.
Excellent! Using together with Foxart swatches, good design, fast print and cheap!
I designed a simple lid for your box 😊

Thanks for sharing!
Very good idea and I love the design but I am not sure why the small lip at the top is so thin. when I remove the lid the case broke two times. (see photo)
Maybe there is a problem with my print
EDIT: Thanks for the support - 5 Stars
Thanks for the feedback.
Did you print using matte PLA? If so, matte PLA are known to have very poor layer adhesion and not advisable for prints with tight tolerances. Or you may be having your print too squished to the build surface (elephant's foot) causing it to be too tight fitting. I suggest slightly trim the perimeter of the bottom of the case before stacking.
Awesome design, thanks! No picture from me, the print warped a bit and don't want that to ruin your nice design! A little bit of feedback, not sure if you can change it but it's hard to change to letters on the labels. Somehow, when starting to type, all letters are stacked on top of each other. When you add more height to the letters (lets say thickness 10) you see that the letters are curved on the edges.
Make sure the text are not going over the edge of the label or you can use the positioning/move tool. Also, try reducing the size of the text if it goes beyond the label.
I have printed some swatch now and needed a place to store them, this storage box is the solution. very handy and if you want to show the swatch you can also just turn the box upside down.
