Description

Attention all car enthusiasts! Introducing the multi-part spark plug lamp.

Each component is designed with threads, ensuring effortless assembly without the hassle of glue.

This free version has a sleek plain white shade but should you want one with an iconic spark plug brand logos like NGK, DENSO, BOSCH, CHAMPION, ACDELCO, VOLVO, AUDI, MERCEDES or any other design, they are all available with my new updated version here

Additionally, a light strip pole is provided for seamlessly wrapping LED strip lights, ready to be inserted into the ceramic fixture.

For those that have a Bambu Lab light kit, scale the model up to 140% and the light kit fits perfectly making the model stand 45cm high.

UPDATE March 2024

While i aim to keep this model free for personal use i now have a paid version which has a few improvements and extra parts.

  • Brand logos for every brand spark plug and other car manufacturers. (can add more logo's on request)
  • Single Electrode Plug version (for wall mounting
  • Wall mount
  • Vent hole added to allow heat to escape
  • Scaled for your convenience 470mm Height
  • STEP, 3MF, STL and Bambu 3MF Files included

This would make a great gift for any car enthusiast, mechanic, engineer, technician, automotive professional, collector, diy enthusiast or anyone else that appreciates unique novel home decor.

I bought the files on printables and I did get it to print but the white keeps printing bad in the same spots. I have tried different flow ratios and still doing it. Any suggestions? This is the 140%

can’t say for sure as it could be a number of reasons but have you done a flow calibration, temp tower, dried filament tried another roll? white is always the worst to print with in my experience.

I actually just took a video. It like makes blobs around the print instead of just continusly moving. Both my X1C and my P1S do the exact same thing.

Does it in the same spot regardless of printer.

THat looks really neat. Any chance you could do the NGK logo on it? That would really take it up a level.

hard to guess what the issue is with only a photo to go off. Does looks like a bed adhesion issue, clean the bed with dish soap and wipe plate with ipa and send it.

I’ll take more pictures. it’s not adhesion it just the end of the print where it gets like this

I used the default settings they uploaded with the model. I printed another and it was thin in that area but didn't break off at least

mine failed at the flat portion of the ceramic(white) part. do I need supports? do I print it upside down?

is it possible to make model smoother? it is not really a round, reminds me tinkercad round if you dont pile several circles on the same model and turn those a couple degrees. very cool model you have done, i appreciate for that.

Hi, thanks for sharing this issue, i have updated all print profiles with a smoother surface finish so delete the old files and re-download the new ones. it seems i exported the files as STL from the design software instead of STEP when i made previous changes. I appreciate the heads up and i'm glad you like it. Thank you

i’m pretty sure i did print with the same settings the new one what i printed the old one but this part from the new file is not that good as the old one? old one on the right and the new one on the left. used variable layer height on top for both. also there is not the white part with no logo at all. you can only DL it with logo.
