Description

Here is a simply Easter Egg keychain I made for my kid's classmates. I scaled down the model to 80% so I could easily fit 20 on 1 plate. Printed this in 3 colors (white, yellow, and grey) with AMS by changing filament by layers. You can also do this without an AMS, just pause at layer listed below and change filament color. No supports needed. I turned on ironing on all top surfaces using rectilinear pattern. 25% grid infill.

I made it in tinkercad, you can customize the name there by exporting the stl into tinkercad.

Instructions on how to customize name. Reach out if you need help with changing the name.

  • Open up project in tinkercad.
  • Click on keychain.
  • Select Ungroup or CTRL + Shift + G
  • Click on “Name” and menu on top right under text box, change name to whatever you like.
  • Highlight the entire keychain and select group or CTRL + G.
  • Export as .STL
  • Open in slicer and print!

PRINTING: (be sure to clean your plate for proper adhesion)

  • If printing at 100%, change filament at layer 1 - white, layer 17 - yellow, and layer 22 - grey.
  • If printing at 80% scale, change filament layer 1 - white, layer 13 - yellow, and layer 18 - grey.
  • Double check the colors in the preview tab, those layers above worked for me, might not for you if you do a different scale.
  • No supports
  • Ironing on all top surfaces - Rectilinear pattern
  • 25% infill - Grid pattern
