Description

"Enhance Your 3D Printing Experience with the Bambulab A1: 3D Printed Camera Mod and Pivot Pro Installation"

Pivot Pro not only houses the original camera fitted to the A1 but also repositions it to the front corner for an enhanced viewing angle of your printed masterpieces. Fitting is easy just unthread the existing wire and disconnect the camera, making way for the Pivot Pro – a versatile mount designed to pivot, allowing you to capture the best viewing angle of your printing process. The beauty of this mod is that it requires no additional hardware – just print out the Pivot Pro and easily fit it to your Bambulab A1. The Pivot Pro seamlessly clips over your printer's touch screen, providing a user-friendly and practical solution. But that's not all – we've designed the camera mount in three different heights, allowing you to customize and swap according to your specific project requirements.

what an awesome mod! had a little rough edges around the ball of the camera support, little light sanding and it moves freely in the socket.

Great print, snaps together perfect, instruction video was absolutely fantastic too! Now to work out why Bambu zooms in the timelapse video...

Other Issues:The idea is good, but it is not possible to print it qualitatively. A heating bed is not really a problem.

The issue is obviously your bed adhesion looking at the photo. you need to clean your bed and if you still have issues a use glue stick. I wipe my bed before every print using 99%ipa. sorry it did not work out for you but I’ve printed it several times successfully so have many others

Other Issues:100% credits for the Engenering skills. but I had a lot of trouble with the Ball Joints, either too loose or too tough.
Support Issue:had crazy fails breaking the stick, had to put more supports in there, kept losing objects on the bed. IN THE END. I managed to get a couple decent prints. Thank you for a nice addition.

Doesn't end well but i was probably my fault due to a misplace bed. I'll retry another time and update my rate depending on the success.

hi what didn't end well and what do you mean 'misplaced bed'?

A part of the print didn't stick to bed and make a mess. When I talk about "misplaced bed" I mean that the PEI plate wasn't correctly placed on the bed. One part was on the guide to place the PEI plate. I should have been more careful on this so likeI said the fail is probably on me.

worked great. I nevertheless created a print profile for all printers and removed the timelapse and prime tower as well as switched supports to standard (for the people with adhesion issues this might help) within the new profile.
