Description

This is a low profile riser for the top cover glass of the X1C and P1S/P1P 3D Printers.

It is designed for optimal airflow while being very slim and using very little material. You can print it without supports and assemble it without glue.

The riser has an angled lid on the inside for attaching an LED Strip. You can use most USB LED Strips.

I've used the 5600K White Light LED strip sold by bambu lab and plugged it to the internal USB connector of the printer.

The riser has little clips you can use for cable management.

You will need some interface material between the riser and both the printer and the glass top to prevent vibrations and rattling. Small strips of double sided tape work great for me. Thin EVA Foam should work as well.

love this design, simple, printed super easy and just works perfectly! I added a cob light strip I got on Temu, pretty sure it’s only 1m - it goes 75% of the way around which is all you need added a picture with the door closed, open and on the app

I really like this design, so I decided to give it a go; I had to start over each plate a couple of times because of issues with the print. I've never had problems like that before, but I'm not sure why it would just be with the file. Once printed however, it wasn't as great as I had hoped, as the glass rattles during printing. I tried to put a very thin layer of cloth between the print and the glass, but the lip was too small, and the glass wasn't secure afterward. Looks really nice, but ultimately unusable for me. Would probably work well if I had my AMS on top of the printer as the extra weight would keep the glass in place.

Hey, you will need some Material to dampen the rattling. Small strips of double sided tape on both the glass and the bottom of the riser work great for me. Just enough to prevent the vibrations but still easy enough to remove when needed. Thin EVA Foam should work as well.
