Description

So I found out recently that the new S63 barrel system by Planet Eclipse doesn't come with a case of any kind. Not everyone has a PE marker case that has slots for multiple barrel parts, especially if they buy multiple of the inserts. This is my attempt to rectify that issue.

The lid parts have a small indentation on them, this is for a magnet to help hold the lid closed.  I used these from amazon. Use some super glue or 2 part epoxy glue to secure the magnets in place, taking care to make sure they are oriented correctly to attract each other when the lid is closed.

Once the magnets are secured, align the lids with the top of the main body, and use a piece of 1.75mm filament as the hinge pin on either side. Optionally, use a dab of glue to secure it in place, although it probably won't be necessary.  The hinge may be a bit tight at first depending on your printer tolerances, you may have to force the hinge to bend at first, but it will be smooth after that.

For now I only have designed a 5 insert case, based on the 5 inserts available from Planet Eclipse at the moment. I'll probably work on a 10 insert case to include the new sizes from Inception within the next day or so. If/when the threaded inserts for first strike users come out, I'll probably create an update if the new inserts don't fit.
