Fantastic model! I took some liberties with the model to include some drainage and build a planter base separately. (I regret not combining them now, but I may do that for another print and gift this one). I printed at 0.08 (14Hrs) which was nearly perfect with the exceptions of some weird 'rough' patch artifacts that I can't figure out. I did force the seams at the back so that was nicely hid. At this layer height I did have issues with the overhangs, but my supports were set to 0.2 when I was printing at 0.08, lesson learned here for me to always put (Top Z Distance) it at 50-75% of the layer height. Overall I'm quite happy and will be experimenting with another print at 0.16 or 0.12 very soon! I plan to share this file with the drainage when I figure out how exactly I can do that! :) Thanks for the hard work!

Les supports étaient un peu rugueux, mais un léger passage avec une lime l'a nettoyé. L'impression de st 0,08 a également donné à Ke quelques difficultés. Je réimprimerais à 0,2. (Google Traduction)

Hey, I didn't know about this filament, it has a reallyyyy nice finish! It reminds me a bit of the Prusa Galaxy filament but it looks even better. Thanks for giving me yet another reason to spend my money. lol And thanks for the photos and feedback, I really appreciate it :-)

It is similar to the other Galaxy filaments (I use a lot of Polymaker - black and dark green) but this one also shows really blue/teal from some angles and nearly black from others. It's very cool!

Great model! I need to get a bit more familiar with how to do the supports nicely so that it leaves less trace but overall pretty happy with the result.

Thanks a bunch for your feedback! I'm glad you're happy with the results so far. You're spot on about the two sides of the helmet being the trickiest parts of the model. I'd definitely recommend using supports for those areas to get the best possible print. However, if your printer has good ventilation, you might be able to get away without using supports.
