Description
Camptosaurus dispar was a herbivorous dinosaur that thrived during the Late Jurassic period, approximately 156 to 145 million years ago.
This bipedal ornithopod dinosaur, found in North America, boasted a relatively compact body with a length of around 5 meters (16 feet) and a weight of approximately 1 ton.
One of its distinguishing features was its robust teeth designed for chewing tough plant material, indicating a herbivorous diet.
