3D model description

This is a set of 33 replicas of brachiopods collected from the world famous Ordovician strata in the vicinity of Cincinnati,Ohio.

All the models were created with photographs and photogrammetry software.

The original fossils range in size from 7mm to 60mm. These models increase the size to about 3 inches- this scale makes it easy to view small details . This scale is also used in the set 'Big Bowl of Fossils', and four of the brachiopods in that set are also in this set.

The identification of the fossils is pretty accurate I hope – my main reference was the excellent 'A Sea without Fish' by Meyer, Davis et al. Any corrections are welcome!
