The Banning Class Bi-Plane was sculpted by Colin Christenson late in the campaign as a tribute to the first non-stop transcontinental flight performed in 1932 by James Banning and Thomas Allen. James and Thomas were the first African-American pilots to fly across the continental United States. James was passionate about flying in an era when everyone told him to stop dreaming. The spirit of those who do when others say to give up will forever empower us at Aether Studios. This model prints in only 6 supportless parts.
