3D PRINTING - ROMAN STATUE - MELITINE

3D PRINTING - ROMAN STATUE - MELITINE 3D print model

Description

Mélitinè Piraeus Metröon 163-164 AD The inscription of five lines engraved on the pedestal tells that Melitinè was a priestess at the sanctuary of the Great Goddess in Piraeus. The provincial character of the work is noticeable in the stylization of the folds of the mantle and the realism of the figure, more marked than in contemporary portraits derived from official models.
