Personalised EU/UK/GB Vehicle Registration Number Plate Keyring

A customizable keyring in the style of a EU/UK/GB number plate.
These are perfect for labelling your keys, bag and other personal belongings.
Use your slicer's 'pause at height' or 'filament change' feature to create multicolored keyrings on a single extruder 3D printer.
Font
To use this project, you will require the Mandatory font by K-Type, which is 'free for personal use'. Please see the K-Type Licences page for details.
Once you have obtained your copy of the Mandatory font, simply place the font file (Mandatory.otf) in the same directory as the .SCAD file included with this project.
If you see the following (or similar) errors in OpenSCAD, check the name and location of the font file:
WARNING: Can't open library 'Mandatory.otf'.
ERROR: Can't read font with path 'Mandatory.otf'

OpenSCAD Customizer Options
This design has the following Customizer options:
Text
- Text - The text
- Inset_Text - Should text be inset?
- Text_Thickness - Thickness of the text
Plate
- Plate_Width - Width of the plate (excluding border)
- Border_Width - Width of the border
- Plate_Thickness - Thickness of the plate
- Additional_Border_Thickness - Additional material thickness of border
Keyring
- Keyring_Hole - Should a keyring hole be added?
- Hole_Diameter - Diameter of the hole
- Hole_Border_Width - Thickness of the material around the hole
Other
- Priming_Block - Add a priming block (for multi-filament prints)
- Priming_Block_Diameter_Percent - Diameter of the priming block
- Priming_Block_X_Offset_Percent - Priming block X offset as percentage of distance from center
- Priming_Block_Y_Offset_Percent - Priming block Y offset as percentage of distance from center
Multicolor keyrings with a single extruder 3D printer
If you'd like to print with multiple filaments:
- Make a note of the Text_Thickness and Plate_Thicknesssettings you've used.
- Consider adding a Priming_Block. The idea is that, at the start of each layer, your printer should print this first. This will help to ensure the filament is flowing nicely after a filament change, before starting to print with the new filament.
- You can adjust the size and position of the Priming Block to suit your needs. Don't make it too large though, as you'll be wasting filament.
- Print using your slicer's 'pause at height'/'filament change' feature, ensuring to switch the filament somewhere between the desired heights. In Cura this can be found under: Extensions > Post Processing > Modify G-Code > Add a script

Printing
Recommended slicer settings:
- Resolution: 0.1mm - 0.2mm
- Infill: ~20%
- Supports: No
- Rafts: Should not be required unless you experience adhesion issues.
