"It is the 41st Millenium. For more than a hundred centuries the Emperor of Mankind has sat immobile on the Golden Throne of Earth..."
This design is of an Inquisitors badge of office and the physical representation of their complete authority within the fictional universe of Warhammer 40k. It is a basic model, and I will soon be working on further models to represent the different factions - mostly based upon the cover art on the Ravenor trilogy, the second of Dan Abnett's Inquisitor based trilogies. I enjoyed the simple nature of this design, and its sleek and smooth edges. The skull livens up the piece and looks great as the centralisation of the print.
Print at 0.2 mm layer height, with 10% infill. This uses 15 g of filament and takes 3 hours and 41 minutes.
