Here's another blast (heh heh) from the past in the form of Blaster's Communicator Seat which we saw in Transformers the Movie. In it, Blaster was supposedly able to communicate from Autobot City on Earth with his fellow Autobots on Moon Base-1.
The seat has a pretty unique look to it, as it is raised up from a rounded base using a pair of extendible structs. The whole setup pegs nicely onto a new version of the CyberBase base tile (a full set of this design will be released shortly too)
Positioned right in front of the seat is a control keypad with monitors for the user to operate it, no doubt. For this version, as usual, a smattering of 5mm ports have been added around the piece to allow for attaching of accessories.
To get Blaster seated in there, the front keyboard can be swiveled upwards and out of the way and then TR Blaster can sit quite snugly in there. Now truth be told, due to his design, he doesn't really sit perfectly flat but can get in there quite well. Blaster's a pretty hefty figure too, so one may likely need to adjust the position of the lower strut to get the balance just right:
Then closing down the keyboard allows for him to be in full control and communications mode!
As a nod to how he can transform into his alt mode and connect to the sides of the chair, these foldout components with 5mm ports have also been designed into the armrests:
Other voyager sized figures such as CW Ultra Magnus here may also fit nicely in here.
Coming to the base struts, due to balance issues, its best to have the figure situated directly above the base. But where needed, and with the help of a supporting piece or stand, the strut can also be positioned to be similar to the extended forward mode we see in the movie:

The attached diagram illustrates how to put this set together.
Where pegs are required, it is recommended to use plastic 5mm rods as they would be easy to cut down to the right length and provide the needed strength. Otherwise, 3d printed (long and short) pegs have also been included.

So there we go - something for your favorite Autobot Communuications Specialist to be displayed in and also extend your CyberBase Systems display. Have fun 3d printing this one! =)
