Tippi Spiddi
Tippi Spiddi

My entry to the Tippi Tree Ornaments contest by Make Anything. I couldn't help but think of a spider dangling from a branch when I saw the ornament design, so I made one in a Tippi Tree angular style.
There are a couple of versions of the ornament:
'Body 1' is just a simple piece designed to print in a single part for simplicity.
'Body 2' is designed for assembly with separate 'Eye' and 'Fang' parts. They should just press fit into place, although you may need to scale the parts or adjust the contours to get a tight fit. You could also use a dab of glue if you wish.
Both bodies have premade brim attachments, to aid with bed adhesion, which can be simply pulled off with your fingernails or some snips.
The eyes have a little highlight on top which can be printed by doing a material change at the top of the print.
I have also designed a variation of the ornament stem 'Spiddi stem'. This has a thin section in the middle and is intended to be printed in flexible TPU material, to make the Spiddi jiggle around more on the tree.
Don't use the 'Spiddi Stem' with other ornaments. I have designed a variation of this stem to fit standard Tippi Ornaments 'Springi Stem' which I have published separately as well as a 'Loopi stem' to convert any Tippi Tree ornament into a standard tree ornament or keychain etc.
0.2mm layer heights were used in the printed examples, but any layer height should work fine.
