Im building this plane to run inav on a matek f411 fc. So far I have fiberglassed the plane and designed this battery mount. It screws into the wood lattice along the bottom of the battery bay. I am using an amazon vtx instead of the all in one camera/vtx from zohd. This mount is adaptable to different size batteries/vtx's by changing the mounting location. This part is designed to be light weight and convenient for setting your c.g. but it is also designed to protect your aircraft from blowing snow as the battery ejects through the nose foam. There is a firewall of tpu to help hold the battery back in an impact. I fly with a battery strap holding the hatch down so as long as the mount can keep the lipo in place then the strap prevents it from being able to tumble and eject. I use a similar mechanism in the Zohd dart 250. The firewall is short enough not to obstruct airflow over the vtx and lipo. This is a 3s 2200mah lipo and in this configuration c.g. is perfect and the lipo doesnt shift around. Battery strap goes around the outside of the plane instead of inside the battery bay.
My settings for tpu are .05mm nozzel, hotend temp 200, bed temp 60-70, fan 85%, speed 45mm
If the stl appears tiny in your slicer then uniformly scale it by multiplying xyz by 25.4 this converts inches into mm. The part is programmed in inches.
