The Citroen C5 X7 generation, launched in 2008, was mercilessly mocked and criticized for having a rather silly cupholder located inside the centre cubbyhole, beneath the armrest. Many solutions have been offered but usually they involve sacrificing the tray beneath the radio.
This solution makes use of the small gap in the dashboard, above the A/C controls and beneath the centre display. It just slots in. This is also a completely reversible solution, so if you like, you can remove this with no damage of any sort. This cupholder was designed to take small bottles of water, cans and coffee cups. It CANNOT take larger bottles of water, both because they don't fit and they would be too heavy.
This fits all models! Saloon or Tourer, 1.6hdi, 2.2hdi, with our without Hydractive, you name it.
Models for both Left-hand drive (LHD) and Right-hand drive (RHD) models are provided. To hold it all together, you will need either a 6mm nut and bolt or you can just glue it if you prefer.
This model was printed without supports but you can add them if you wish.
It is highly recommended you use ABS or some other kind of filament that is resistant to heat, as materials such as PLA will lead to the printed model melting if the car is left in the hot sun.
