After trying many designs this is the best I've found for tpu skids. The point on the bottom gives a little grip when landing but the shallow angle of attack lets you drag around without fear of fliipping over. Most of the landing impact is absorbed at the point and spread out. The tbs source one is super rigid and other skids felt like there was no dampening. These fit 16x16 or 19x19 motor mounts but due to the offset hole pattern these skid will not fit a 16x19 motor mount. This is the speedybee frame which is my daily basher going on two years. These skids do well at protecting motor bells and frame ends and I think they look nice in most colors on most frames. I stopped designing new ones since ive been flying these.
Print in tpu. I suggest switching to a .5 nozzel. I print at 70 initial bed temp> 65 bed temp, 200 initial nozzel>195 nozzel temp. Speed 80% inital layer> about 40mm for the rest.
The file is programmed in inches. If it appears tiny, to display it correctly multiply the scale by 25.4 this just converts inches/millimeters. Some slicers I have to do this. Its a machinist trick.
