Monsteras are famous for their natural leaf holes. Some say that Monsteras create holes in their leaves to resist the strong winds. Others suggest that the holes allow water to come in contact with their roots. Whatever the reason they look absolutely stunning and are a perfect motive for all kinds of products, even a soap dish.

About the model

The model is divided into several objects:

• leaf with holes works as a perfect drainage lid
• heart shaped tray for collecting excessive water, comes in two variants:
• shallow tray with flat edge
• deeper tray with raised edge to keep the soap in place

Colors:

I used leaf green and white colors.

Printing suggestions:

Use slighty higher nozzle and bed temperature for first layer when printing leaves to have fewer gaps between colors

Print slower for better quality, set initial layer and initial layer infill to 50 mm/s, outer wall, inner wall and top surface to 100 mm/s

Supports are not needed.
