Bambu Lab says never to use cardboard spools in your AMS due to the damage and inconvenience it can cause. But we all know some of the best filaments come on those darn spools! You may have tried printing spools and spool adapters, only to have them not work on every filament brand… Why keep all those spools and adapters around when you can just apply electrical tape* to the edges?

Here's a SPOOL TOOL that you can use to apply your AMS-saving tape perfectly to every single spool! Also, never lose the end of your tape again! Just slap a roll into this convenient dispenser so it's ready when you need it!

• This version of Spool Tool is designed for this electrical tape*, which is a pretty standard size for my area. If I get enough requests I can certainly release other sizes of Spool Tool. But you may do well to check your tape dimensions will work with this Spool Tool, see below:
