This was Thoroughly tested in both PLA as well as PETG for fit and function. the snap on for the lid can create a overly tight fit in some cases with some materials due to the small tolerances allowed for this function. if this happens a quick scrape on the friction nubs inside the track to the box for the lid to remove a little material should fix that but this was rarely needed in my testing. I did not find a situation where the lid fit too loose but if that happens when the box is placed into the case, the lid is captured by the case as a redundancy so you will still have a functional item.
