Description

This is front cover for print head for A1 and A1mini, that I created to make printer a little different. Its made in engine design with moving pistons. Also made with three different text, so you can chose what you prefere. There is “Ride or Die”, “Hot Rod” and for fun “Hot End” :)

Frame is the same for all my designs so you print just one and change faceplates as you like.

Installation:

First assemble pistons with rods same way as you can see on photo:

Next insert assembled pistons into engine faceplate:

Next align both rods eyelets and from the back clip in crankshaft.

At last just press faceplate into frame at all four corners.

Than remove original faceplate and extruder visualizer from your printer and clip frame carefully with aligning crankshaft with extruder rod to print head instead of original faceplate and than press on crankshaft to hold tightly on extruder rod.

causes some errors from the extruder on mine at least. but I have to give credit when it’s due and this deserves all the credit. such a cool idea

Im sorry for your issues, do you have calibrated for your filaments? It should move freely. You may also try to lubricate pistons or print them 1-2% smaller.

yes it’s moving freely just fine but it seems to be slowing the extruder just so that it throughs out error messages. I tried with 4 different ones that use the spinner too and they all are causing the error while printing. it’s super sad cuz I want to run these
