👂👂👂 Earplug’n’Play System #2: The Frame 🍩 and a flat Filling 💿

Introducing the Earplug’n’Play system: a customizable ear plug solution with interchangeable inserts 😁

A) Select your plug size by clicking on “Print Parts” and choose the suitable plug frame along with the matching insert, then print both.

B) Insert the filling with sheer force until it clicks. The disc should then be able to rotate within the frame ❤️ 👉 🍩

first layer fails everytime for me when it does the 2nd loop around - will drag a thin line of the filament across leaving a bump at the connection point when completing the circle. not sure what the issue with the print is.

Do you cleaned the printplate and tried 3D-Lac or Bambu Glu?

yes, have done that. I should also note that I could see the issue start on the first layer, but would not fail untill the 5th or 6th pass. I had 0 issues with printing the solid inserts, only the eyelet portion was giving me issues. the contact points completing the circle looks as if there is an overlap creating the filament to be raised at the last point of contact. I have attached a photo where you can see the string coming across and not making full contact across the circle from where the slight bump on the overlap was created on the first layer. I'm using a high heat smooth plate - have tried using glue as well as a rubbing down with an abrasive pad that came with the plate to help with sticking. I am also using a 0.4 mm nozzle with 1.75mm PLA on the X1-Carbon
