Description

Insert for Maracaibo board game, fits all expansions, metal coins, and large sleeves.

The original design by lukaszenkoPL was intended for the Polish edition of Maracaibo, but seems to also work on the English edition… the original card boxes did not however fit cards with Arcane Tinmen Large sleeves, so I changed that and I made a couple of other modifications while I was at it. All of the modifications in comparison to the original:

  • Increased the card box size, now fits sleeves with external size up to about 63mm*97mm (Arcane Tinmen Large, and probably several others).
  • Shrunk down the affiliation marker box and one of the tiles/tokens box in order to fit the larger card boxes.
  • Made some more space to the tiles/tokens box by removing the “Alexander Pfister”-text (probably wasn't necessary in the end).
  • Combined the three coin boxes to one model.
  • Modelled one tile storage box, which was missing from the original design.
  • Resized the card dividers to correspond with the larger cards.
  • Added texts directly to the card dividers for multicolor printing.

The original design had some boxlift, which is unfortunately further increased a bit by this insert (due to the support for larger cards). The final boxlift is shown on one of the attached images. I have included two different print profiles for this insert. Only one profile needs to be printed and each plate only once, with the following exceptions:

  1. One profile is for multicolor prints. Each player box has a different color on different plate, and the divider texts can be printed directly to the dividers (print the Plate 8 - Option A, ignore Plate 9). In case you want plain dividers, print twice the Plate 9 - Option B and ignore Plate 8.
  2. In case you want the whole insert in single color, go with the other profile. This is slightly faster when it comes to single color prints, in regards to print time and manual work.
