Description

This is an insert for GWT: New Zealand to assist with getting it tabled efficiently. Given the shallow box height, double-layer player boards, and two map boards, it was a challenge to fit everything inside. Small compromises were made including a few thin walls, however all card trays can accommodate sleeved cards (GameGenic Prime pictured), and there is minimal lid lift. The box can be stored vertically without affecting the components within. These were printed with a 0.4 nozzle, 0.2mm layer height, and 15% infill.

Update 8/30: I made a split file of the card trays for those with smaller print beds. They are overall slightly (0.5mm) longer than the 4-slot trays, and you will need to print 4x to hold all the needed cards.

Update 9/1: after a suggestion to revisit the A/B tokens, I was able to fit both bags in the box without having to remove the tokens! A new file - objectives neutral buildings - has been added and is the only new thing needed to print for those who already printed all files. The B token bag fits in the empty space on the bottom layer, and the A token bag fits in the previous A/B token area. I have also moved the 1/2/3/4 player board markers to between the neutral building tile and score pad for easier access.

Update 11/9: I've gotten a few requests to split the solo and market/scorepad trays for smaller print beds. These files have been moved to a new folder and utilize a puzzle-piece connector. I've also included a second type of tray for money (type B) which is more open and should allow you to simply dump the pieces in rather than sort them for storage.

Thank you to js500 for use of his original player tray files as well as the exchange marker tray from which I pulled the token's dimensions.

Card trays

The deck-building, bonus, and objective card trays have a slot at the top to hold the associated card label for easy viewing across the table and to save a little bit of space. You will need to print two of the card trays to hold the deck-building and bonus cards.

The market sheep deck is split between two trays next to the building aid/scorepad. This tray can be used as-is and will also keep the building aid handy for neutral building information. Player count board markers are located under the building aid.

Player Trays w/ key slot

Each player tray holds all associated building tiles, tokens, cards (including sleeved), hat, and meeple. The orange square token is used as a “key”, simply slide it upward from its resting location at the front of the tray to assist with card removal.

The scorepad is a bit of a tight fit but should drop in without too much fuss if kept parallel to the bottom of the tray.

Happy printing!

Nice insert with a perfect fit. Unfortunately the frame of the scoresheet piece is really thin so it broke while I tried to get the pieces off of the plate. Are your red discs also thicker than the others?
