Description

This is a model for the 2021 version of FormFutura cardboard spools and the 2022 differs a little bit but I remixed a version for it also which cand be found here:

I used two existing models to create one that perfectly fit my needs.

I recommend printing it with the same material that is on the spool itself for when you are drying the filament not to affect the ring or to choose a material like PET-G or ABS/ASA from the beginning.

Had some trouble getting it on the spool because it seems Formfutura doesn't stamp the holes accurately. Regardless, it stays on the spool well enough to work, so I can't ding the model because it does what it says. However, this makes the spool too tall to close the lid in the AMS. I noticed right away, but definitely don't print remotely or it might tear up some of the gears in the feeding mechanism. So I have to print with the AMS open, but that's enough for me to print some Bambu spools.

hi, your link is incorrect, I think you mean to link to https://makerworld.com/en/models/24818 Please include the weight of the spool as well. These only fit < 1Kg rolls, since the 1Kg ones are too wide with this adapter.
