At work we use allen wrenches (hex keys) a lot for machine assembly. The problem is people keep borrowing my allen wrench sets as we work on machines together. My work provides bulk bondhus allen keys to people so they don't use worn out wrenchs potentially damaging expensive equipment. I designed a print in place allen wrench holder set (1.27mm to 10mm). Then I load them up with the bulk allen keys and give them to people when they want to “borrow” my set. It's a win win.
I hope you find this handy to organize any bulk allen keys you have kicking around. Fit will depend on tuning of your printer, extrusion multiplier, material (ABS, PETG, PLA, Etc). The fit is perfect for me, but adjust your scaling, extrusion multiplier, or the model itself for your own perfect fit. Each hole has a short section that is a tight fit, the rest of the hold is over sized. So you should be able to print it pretty tight, insert an allen wrench, and spin it back and forth a few times to wear in a snug but easy to remove fit.
I have provided the STL, native Soldworks 2018, Step, and imported Fusion360. Modify it, and make it your own. Enjoy.
I tend to print this in PETG.
