Description

I - like many people - was annoyed by the lack of a trigger lock on the V11 series. I tried many solutions to this; some community and others commercial but all of them came up short. They either were a piece that I would lose, or they restricted the operation of the trigger when attached. There had to be a better way…..

So, sat on my sofa one evening I was thinking about the V11 (as you do) and triggers when a thought entered my head: “What else has a trigger? Firearms have triggers. Some firearms have cross-bolt safeties or cross-trigger safeties that lock the trigger out. What if a cross-trigger safety could work in reverse?”

So, I took a scan of the V11 and got CAD'ing. This was the result: A cross-trigger safety that doesn't restrict the operation of the trigger.

To complete you will need:

  • 2 x M3x10mm Allen head bolt
  • 1 x M2x40mm Allen head bolt
  • 1 x M2 nut

Tolerances should be OK as is. I printed the parts in PLA on a Bambu X1C but any accurate printer (Prusa etc.) will be fine.

Great design! I printed it with Prusament PETG @ 0,12mm layer height and it fits perfectly on my V15. fyi: I changed the orientation of the pin and printed it horizontally and as luap71 already mentioned, you don’t need a M2x40mm. I used a M2x20mm and the bolt is long enough.

The design is great, however, it keeps the button stuck. I’ll need to make some adjustments for it to work with the V10.

Passt fast perfekt, etwas Nacharbeitung notwendig (ein bisschen zu eng). gedruckt in Bmabu ABS Lila

Fits great on my v15 - you don't need a M2-40mm - not sure why that is in the description (typo?) that bolt and nut are both inset - I used a M2-19mm (its what I had) and it had plenty of thread through the nut - probably could have used a M2-16mm. Anyway - great design!

Interesting construction, but I needed to enlarge one side with about 1 mm for perfect fitting. Also the cilps break very easily. I put some glue on it and it works fine now.

Great design. It's a little tight for my finger, but otherwise works well. I'm having to special order an M2x40mm bolt and nut—not easy to find.

quite practical, but the without lock does not leave very much space for the finger, and mine are very small
