This is a printable ZX Microdrive enclosure. The original drive does fit in it. Also the vDrive does fit. vDrive Highly recommended! Not affiliated by the way, but a must have for anyone that has an Interface 1 or QL. The designer of the vDrive ZX has asked for permission to sell these printed enclosures. So check out his website if you do not have access to a 3D printer.
Only the base does require support from the build plate up. The top cover can be printed on the rear side. Feet have to be printed three times and need to be glued to the bottom.
Front also needs to be glued to the top cover.
Files may change as some of the holes and standoffs are slightly off. But hey, OCD is my middle name.
Rubber feet and a replacement faceplate can be ordered from www.sellmyretro.com.

UPDATE 11-04-19
Topcover has changed, so the faceplate should fit better. And I added the bracket that holds two Microdrives together. If you have already printed v3 you only have to reprint the topcover.
UPDATE 02-05-19
Added a printable faceplate template. This one can be printed on self adhesive paper and you can cover it with sticky-backed plastic. I do however recommend the replica that is sold on sellmyretro.
UPDATE 23-5-19
Added a vDrive ZX version. This one has the vDrive ZX text instead of the ZX Microdrive lettering.
