I just printed two of these and put the spool on them. Works like a charm in the AMS. Designed for minimal filament use.
Try it at 0.2mm layer height, 0.12 if you feel wary.

Are these supposed to fit together? I have the smaller 250/500g spools and wanted to get something to help print with the AMS. I printed two but they don't seem to fit together.

Hey, sorry, as is they don't fit together perfectly, no. It still works if you put them inside the small rolls, as shown in the image.
