Description

After searching way to long to find a well organized and easy to print storage solution for my BambuLab accessories, I gave up and made my own.

Hence, the BambuBox was born.

This Box takes up to five BambuLab X1/P1 Hotends, even fully assembled, with dedicated storage for the wires.

Also there is a Drawer on the bottom to store Nozzle wipers, Filamentcutters, AMS-Shafts, Screws etc.

The Divider is removable and I also uploaded a STEP-file of it for easy modification.

The whole Model is very easy to make: No Supports, No Brim, just: download, print, assemble.

And all you need is:

  • 6pc ISO7380 M3x6
  • 2pc ISO4762 M3x25 or M3x30 both work.

Have fun!

I have reported to support your outrage at a work of mine that is for sale on CULTS3D. please delete it. This is disrespectful to me and others who strive.

I won't deny that I got inspiration from your design, I even bought it on cults! but to be honest: It was not good. Sorry, the print needs more support than actual printmaterial, as it is clearly not designed with 3d printing in mind. That frustrated me to such a degree, that i made my own. Build from scratch, without using your files, therefor, any kind of copyright you might have on the files does not apply and I couldn't find any design-patend on this. I also changed many things to inprove the design for 3d-Printing and assembly sothat in the end only the outer shape and the arrangement of the hotends is simular. Feel free to take back the inspiration and improve your own design.

The problem is not with what you did, but that even though you knew that it was originally my creation, you didn't write that it was a remix and the source was cited. And if you see on the Cults3D model the permissions also say a remix ban. so who is at fault first? me or you?

This is no Remix! A remix is defined as an alteration of the original files, I did not do that! I took inspiration from the shape of your box and totally redesigned it from scratch. If you download the files and look into the way this box is build you will see, that there is not much in common with yours! Except for the outer shape, which is basicly just derived from the Bambu X1 formlanguage, and the arrangement of how the hotends are placed. Both these things can not be banned by copyright-based-Licences, as they fall under Patent-law (design-Patent). But I can happiely mention you here, as a source of inspiration.

Very nice. I would suggest to make two more screws in the connection between top and bottom box, because in the middle it's bending a little bit.

I love it but I don’t just have screws laying around I don’t have any ideas to make it print in place but if you could that would be so cool

printing it in place would require excessive amounts of support, therefor the splits were done in a strategic way to eliminate the need for any supports. the need for Screews was an acceptable tradeoff in my eyes.
