Description

This has been the best mod on my X1C so far so just wanted to share.

 

Bambu Lab X1C/P1P Nozzle Wiper with 2mm Silicone sheet.

 

Print the design with higher temperature materials like PETG… ABS, ASA

Recommended to print the design laying on the side.

Cut 14x17 mm rectangle from 2mm silicon sheet.

Insert the silicon sheet into the groove.

Use the original screw from the bambulab PTFE nozzle cleaner, to fix the clenar in the printer.

 

And it's done.

 

2023.07.22: Added version II

Lowered the overall 3D printed part height to prevent any filament sticking on it.

For this design, you need to use smaller 14x14x2 mm silicon sheet piece.

You can use 4 edges of the silicone sheet while it wears out.

Have tight tolerances for inserting silicone sheet. 14x17mm silicone alignment is not clear. Probably need 14mm in height. Works so far when I tested loading and unloading filament. Need to see how it behaves during actual print.

My wiper hits up against the frame of the ptfe slab holder. Maybe needs to move over a bit?

I moved the ptfe holder over 2mm. Clears well. Now we'll do some testing...
