Description

If you like this model and it's not too much trouble, please hit the 👍 button - it helps out a lot 😀

This is a remix of the scraper included on Bambu Lab printers. The following changes have been made to it:

  • Able to hang on the X1C's door handle and securely stay in place
  • Bigger for easier use and more comfort
  • Bambu logo added to the scraper

The print profile is for PLA in 2 colors with just 1 color swap! If you don't want the Bambu logo, it is a separate object so you can just delete it and print the scraper plain. Or you can add your own text/object and print it that way!

❗❗❗ Please Be Aware ❗❗❗

This scraper is considered a consumable, meaning it will degrade over time. I mainly use this for lifting/removing skirt lines, purge lines, remaining brims, calibration lines, etc.

If you are looking for a scraper to remove prints off of your build plate, this is probably not the ideal choice. Instead, flex your build plate to release the print or use the official razor blade scraper from Bambu Lab.

So this is considered a consumable as it will for sure degrade over time. Mine is a bit chewed up as well, though not nearly as much as yours. I mainly use mine for lifting up skirts, purge lines, calibration lines, etc. I don't really use it to lift up prints. For lifting up prints, I just flex the build plate to help release them. Thanks for providing the second photo as I will add this info to the description.

Hi there Yes, with a bit of thinking I would have come to this conclusion (PLA=Not awfully strong when so thin) myself , I don't blame your model, it is still awesome. Since I'm a beginner with 3D Printing I restrained from flexing the build plate too much for releasing prints. I thought it may bulge the plate or damage it over time.. But when the pros do it as well, I'm not so shy anymore. If I'm brave I'll make a remix of your door-fitting scraper and the bambu lab one :) Thanks for your work!

Nice simple design and good print! but be warned these plastic scrapers just don't hold up. Better off getting plastic blades from AliExpress and printing a handle. but this is a great starter print. I decided to put my initials on the back of the handle as a little experiment for my first customized print, and it came out ok for a first attempt.

Quick and easy print. Did wear pretty quickly, but that's probably expected based on how thin the edge is.

Great design and it's so useful to be able to store on the handle. I printed in ABS so you need a brim to stop the blade from warping.
