Description

A giant tribute inspired by one of the most basic LEGO bricks - the 1x1 Round Plate.

They're designed to be stackable and stay together, just like the real LEGO 1x1 round plates, but slightly optimized for printing.

3:1 (~25mm dia) and 4.5:1 (~37mm dia) versions are included in the same print profile. Just pick which plate to print.

If you want even bigger, I recommend using this version optimized for 10:1 scale!

Raw .stl file is at 1:1 scale if you want to scale it to any other sizes.

Enjoy!

Print looks great. Blue is this profile, purple is original, and I like how this prints in a circle. The seam stands out more, perhaps, but that’s because it’s smoother overall. Thanks for adding this profile!

Glad you like the model! Your profile looks great. The seam is really minor compared to how the original profile shows the lines far more. What setting do you change to make it print circular like yours instead of straight lines like my original profile?

Nothing difficult;) If you are using Bambu studio, you must turn on advanced settings, then go to Strenght, and than change top surface pattern to coencentric. You have also other options and you can also change bottom and inner pattern. Just a small comment on model, do your dots stick togheter tightly or are they little lossy? I my case they not stick together so well as original legos :'D

Had to add a brim but printed great, now to print some in better colours.

Nice print! Is it white or translucent? Did you have an issue printing that required you to add a brim? Just learning the use cases for brims as I haven't used one before. Thanks!

The filament is labelled "natural pla", it is semi-translucent white. I added a brim because they came off the bed the first time, I probably just need to clean my bed a little better as I've had similar things with other prints since printing these.

Thanks for the info! I need to get some of that color for future prints. I haven't had these come off the bed, but I've had it with other things, so good info on the brim. Thanks.
