Description
I made this simple cutting jig for silicone tubes to get the perfect 19mm length and cross section cuts for my Ultimate Nozzle Wiper. The gaps are big enough to use a knife with a maximal blade thickness of 0.7mm. STEP file is included in case you want to do a remix. Happy printing!

You need a Quality Silicone Tube (200-300°C)

Outer diameter = 7mm

Not a good looking print to be honest but I'm sure it will work just fine to cut the tube

ughhh that looks really awful, what filament did you use? Reprint it with one of the "Basic PLA" spools that came with the printer.

yeah it's BBL basic white PLA. I printed from the app, which I don't like doing because I like to set my own profiles.

seems like something went terribly wrong. I don't use the app only the desktop version but my included profile should work 100% since I printed it with the Basic PLA green that came with the printer. Are you sure you used my profile from "Designer" ?

Other Issues:The cutter isn't sized for a regular tube, all kinds of mess ensues.

OMG people, please read the description. The cutter is meant for a silicone tube that is needed to work as a nozzle wiper inner 3mm and outer 7mm. You can't use any regular tube you want, that is not going to work.

Where is this written? The description does not mention any details about the dimensions of the silicon tube. Either it was removed or you are making this up.

I thought the text is self-explanatory and there is a link in the description with a huge youtube video thumbnail showing everything. But I can add the same data into this text too if there are others who didn't understand it. You need the thickness else the wiper can't work correctly if it's too thin. greetings

Prints well :) I am not sure if the cutting-rail couldn't be let go though, the slit-part can function as cutting guide just as well :)
