Nvidia Shield Remote Stand (with and without cover)

Created this stand for nvidia shield remote, which can be used with and without remote protection cover.

Depending on your needs you can print the bottom in various variations:

• Multicolor
  The Bottom.stl file can be split to parts in your slicer and the letters can be colored individually.
  
• Manual color change
  The bottom plate is 5mm thick. Slice the Bottom.stl file with a pause at that height, manually change filament and continue printing.
  
• Separated letters
  Print the bottom plate without letters (Bottom (embossed).stl) and the letters (Letters.stl) in another color and put them together after printing (some glue may help). The letters are embossed by 1mm into the plate and have an offset of 0.1mm. If that will not fit on your printer try scaling up/down the letters in your slicer.
  
• Single color
  Just print the Bottom.stl or Bottom (embossed).stl file in the color you prefer.

Additionally you will need 2x Holder.stl or Holder (with cover).stl which you can just stick in place (fits perfectly on my printer) or use some glue. Like the letters file the holder also has offsets of 0.1mm in all directions, if that will not fit for you try scaling it up or down a little in your slicer.

I suppose to mirror one of the two holders in your slicer, so you get the same finish on both inner/outer sides (depending on your printplate).

The holder also can easily be remixed. The recess for it has a lengths and widths of 20x5mm and is 3mm deep. Just create one that will fit in that dimensions.

Nvidia Shield Fernbedienungs-Halter (mit und ohne Hülle)

Ein Halter für nvidia shield Fernbedienungen, der mit und ohne Fernbedienungs-Hülle verwendet werden kann.

Je nach Bedürfnis kann die Boden-Platte unterschiedlich gedruckt werden:

• Multicolor
  Die Bottom.stl-Datei kann im Slicer aufgeteilt und die Buchstaben dann einzeln eingefärbt werden.
  
• Manueller Farbwechsel
  Die Boden-Platte ist 5mm dick. Die Bottom.stl-Datei mit einer Pause in dieser Höhe slicen, das Filament manuell wechseln und den Druck danach fortsetzen.
  
• Einzelne Buchstaben
  Hierfür die Boden-Platte ohne Buchstaben (Bottom (embossed).stl) und die Buchstaben (Letters.stl) in einer anderen Farbe drucken und nach dem Druck in die Löcher einfügen (bei Bedarf kleben). Die Buchstaben sind 1mm tief in die Platte eingelassen und haben ein Offset von 0,1mm. Falls das nicht passt können die Buchstaben im Slicer entsprechend etwas hoch oder runter skaliert werden.
  
• Einfarbig
  Einfach nur die Bottom.stl- oder Bottom (embossed).stl-Datei in der Wunschfarbe drucken.

Zusätzlich wird 2x die gewünschte Halterung benötigt (Holder.stl mit Hülle oder Holder (with cover).stl ohne Hülle) die in die entsprechenden Aussparrungen gesteckt (und eventuell geklebt) werden (bei mir halten sie aber auch ohne). Wie auch die Buchstaben hat der Halter ein Offset von 0,1mm in alle Richtungen, falls das nicht passt kann auch dieser entsprechend im slicer etwas hoch oder runter skaliert werden.

Ich schlage vor einen der beiden Halter im Slicer zu spiegeln, um auf beiden Innen-/Außenseiten das gleiche Finish zu erhalten (abhängig von der verwendeten Druckplatte).

Der Halter kann problemlos angepasst werden. Die Aussparung hat eine Länge von 20x5mm und ist 3mm tief. Es gilt nur zu beachten, dass der neue Halter in diese Abmessungen passt.
