Summary

This is an insert designed to organize the game pieces for the game Pollen, published by AllPlay. It mainly consists of a number of boxes with lids, one for each player's cards, and one for each of the "meeple" tokens (Junebugs, Bees, Butterflies). It also has a spacer to hold the pollen token bag and keep the boxes from sliding around. The player card boxes definitely will not support sleeves, but sleeved cards would make this game very difficult to play.

NOTE 1: For the meeple boxes, the lids are embossed wiht "2+" and "3+" with 10 meeples going in the "2+" side and 6 meeples going in the "3+" side. This makes it easy to only open one side of the boxes for 2-player games—remove both lids for 3- and 4-player games. I have also included models for the text "2+" and "3+" so that you can load both the "_lid.stl" file and "_text.stl" file together into your slicer and apply a different color to each, as shown in my pictures. If you don't want to print multi-color, just don't include the "_text.stl" files and you'll still have nicely embossed lids.

NOTE 2: The boxes print best at 0.16 line height (0.4 nozzle) but 0.20 or thicker is fine for everything else. You really want to use 0.16 (or lower) for the boxes with lids as there are some small but steep overhangs that are supported much better by a slightly smaller line height. (Check your slice preview.) No supports should be needed if you print at 0.16 or lower.

I printed these with 15% gyroid infill, but you can use 10% infill if you increase the number of top shell layers by one (or if you don't care about slight imperfections in the bottoms of the boxes). PLA/PLA+ works great for all of these.

Print four player card boxes in the player colors, two "bees_butterflies_holder" boxes (one for bee meeples, one for butterfly meeples), one "junebugs_holder_box" (it's slightly smaller than the other two) for junebug meeples, and one pollen token bag spacer.

Last, but not least! The lids for all the boxes are friction fit and can be stored on the bottom of their boxes so they don't get lost during play. The tolerances on these can be somewhat tight, but they came out beautifully on my Bambu X1C.
