Description

This is a wallmount I designed to hang up a LEGO McLaren F1 42141 on the wall.

I was using the Plexiglass pannels I already had at home, in the size of 70cm (height) x 40cm (width) x 5mm (depth). The hole in the Plexiglass to fit the wallmount is 8mm. The location of the hole differs for each car model.

In the wall there was already a dowel for the screw.

I purchased colored adhesive film on Amazon and attached it onto the back of the pannel for a shiny finish. You can also attach the film to the front of the pannel instead, for a matte finish.

You can screw the wallmount directly through the hole in the Plexiglass pannel in the wall. There is also the option to use the wallmount without the Plexiglass pannel. Keep in mind the wallmount was designed including the 5mm depth of the Plexiglass.

To attach the car to the wallmount, you need one LEGO Technic pin.

THE OTHER HOLES YOU CAN SEE IN THE PANNEL WERE DRILLED FOR ANTOHER PROJECT AND ARE NOT NECESSARY FOR THIS BUILD
